Phillips Brooks, best known as the man who wrote “O Little Town of Bethlehem” also composed this poem out of his love for Christ.

Everywhere, everywhere, Christmas tonight!

Christmas in lands of the fire tree and pine,

Christmas in lands of the palm tree and vine,

Christmas where snow peaks stand solemn and white,

Christmas where cornfields lie sunny and bright!

For the Christ Child who comes is the Master of all;

No palace too great and no cottage too small.

No matter what our pandemic- limited Christmas may look like,

Emmanuel is still God-with-us.
