Today is our 46th wedding anniversary. We are grateful for God’s good Grace to us. I wrote the following poem for a musician friend as a wedding gift, but it applies for anyone.
One Symphony
Starting with a single note,
The music grows
And flows
From one life to another.
Friendships come and go,
But one remains
To make the music of a marriage.
Discordant notes of selfishness
Take time to temper.
Slowly, sometimes painfully,
The songs of two hearts
Become one symphony,
Starting, blending, ending,
With a single note
Of Grace.
