October 7, 2018: Perspective Blog

October 7, 2018

Since the spring, I’ve been working on my second book of poetry. It is called: Perspective: Choosing to see Beauty and Truth.

The material, however, has been about 10 years in the making, since my first book was published. Am grateful to God for something to write about: His wisdom.

Writing a book is a bit like giving birth – complete with a time of gestation, the pain of labor, and the help of a midwife (really, several of them: editors and pray-ers and other supporters)

When I got the call that the proof copy was ready at the printers, I sat and checked it over, with tears of joy! Delivery successful! It’s a book!

It is available on Amazon. If you order one, and take a minute to put a review on their website, I would be grateful.  If you live in Guelph, and want to come over and buy one from me directly, call or email.

From poet Robert Frost: A poem begins with a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It is never [just] a thought to begin with.
